Penn Station is one of my favorite places to eat. Seems this location or maybe the company needs to get with the times. I have an issue with companies that will not take coupons off your phone. Get with the times, many people do not have anyway to print at home. With the age of smart phones, iPad and net-books the days of a desktop and printer is not reality for many. I signed up for the e club and had a free 6" coupon in my email. I was told in store I had to have it printed, I even explained i do not have a way to print at home and offered to show it on my phone. I may have to choose a new place to eat that is willing to take coupons in any form.

Out of all the Hot Sub fastfood Joints this is the best with fresh cut fries and one of the best Philly cheesestakes I have ever had. I have been there at least 50 times and have never gotten sick.

Just ate there again for the first time in a year. Seems like the quality is back up. My sandwich was great. Glad to see the increase in quality.

I met a friend for a quick lunch on Thursday who works right near this location in Maryland Heights. I was so excited he chose this because 1. we usually end up at Bread Co. and I get so sick of it and 2. I hadn't been to a Penn Station since I worked in Maryland Heights just over 10 years ago. I ordered the Philadelphia Cheesesteak (I had them remove most of the toppings) and he got the Club and Fries. It was all delicious! Those fries fried in peanut oil are really delicious! I would definitely come back and probably not wait another 10 years.

Oh the handcut fries and lemonade are wunnerful, wunnerful, wunnerful...clean space. Quick service. Good value for the quality. I'm not sure why I don't eat here more often.

Though I've never had a cheesesteak from Philly, I have had many versions of the classic. I will say this was probably one the best I've had. Sub was piping hot and there was plenty of juice, enough to justify the 'sandwich lean', where u have to lean over the table to save yourself from wearing your lunch. Totally worth a visit if your in the area. Staff was very friendly as well.

Never again. I was accused of stealing lemonade when, in reality, I had only put a lemon slice in my water. John (the manager, I believe) took my water away, gave me an empty cup, and told me to make sure I put water in it. I've never been treated this way at a restaurant.

Quick lunch spot, must be good because local workers on their lunch breaks, eat here. Easy walking distance from the Drury Hotel. I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the level of service I saw. Not what I expected from a quick lunch / sub shop. The toasted subs are fantastic, by the way. They serve fresh cut fries, too. I didn't have them on this visit but they looked very good; so maybe next time.
